On December 23, the 8th China Electronics & Household Appliances Forum cum 2020 China's Top 100 Home Appliance Export Companies award ceremony took place in Shunde, China's City of Home Appliances. Nearly 500 representatives including government officials, experts from research institutes, representatives from companies receiving the award of China's Top 100 Home Appliance Export Companies, and heads of electronics & home appliance companies as CCCME members attended the event. Xinbao clinched eight awards, including "2016?2020 China's Top 10 Small Kitchen Appliances Export Companies".
The event was themed "Digital Dual Circulation, Start of 14th Five-Year Period". Discussions were held on the global competitive landscape in the digital economy and under China's "Dual Circulation" development paradigm, including dialogues on the globalization of Chinese electronics & home appliance companies in the post-COVID-19 era. This year, the organizer, the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products accessed and selected the award winners based on their export volume, mode of trade, sales volume, participation in industry activities, contribution to industry development and regulation, and other factors. The list of winners was announced and companies were presented with the awards at the event. Foshan companies such as Xinbao were included in the list.
Xinbao capitalized on the government's effective COVID-19 prevention and control, resumption of work and production, and foreign export measures. Its swift resumption of manufacturing allowed it to seize opportunities to secure deals and plug the gap in the global industry chain. As a result, it saw a surge in export volume. Xinbao clinched the following eight awards:
